I really wish I gave my self more time to post! So many things have happend so here is a quick list of what's been going on here :D
A full load of school for Mary this semester..(and planning the same for next....I want to DONE with school!)
Jason is doing part time school and work and Young Men's
Lily will be tested out of Early Intervention at the end of the year and will be placed into sort of a pre-pre-school program to continue her speech and all around developmental therapies. She is progressing VERY well and talks and uses her signs all the time to communicate with us. I am so glad! While I have mostly been okay in having to deal with her set back, sometimes its so hard to see other kids her age right on que and not be able to have the same experience. It makes my heart hurt to worry about if she will need assistance all her life, I'm sure she will catch up..but still I wonder about what life experiences she will or won't be able to handle or need help with. But I am determined to make sure she will have all the assistance she will need to make it in life, even if I am still doing it in my 70's.
Jason has been very supportive of my crazy idea of thinking it was a good idea to take on so much this semester. He hasn't once complained about the state of the house and what it has been left to as I master my piles of homework.
I am also planning the LA fabric shopping trip with the fashion club again. I have added a third day to the trip and couldn't be more excited for what I have planned! I also have my new collection planned for next year and can't wait to get started on it! Its called Very Victorian. It's full of ruffles, lace, crystal trim, silk taffetas, velvet ribbons, beading, and my favorite CORSETS!
A friend of mine from my theatre days at City Rep asked me to costume a christmas show that he and his brother wrote for Draper Theatre. I took it on even though my plate was already so full because I really wanted to work with them as they have been really into film and have made, produced several awesome shorts and such. Maybe once kids are older I will have the chance to work with them on one of their movies :D Its been kinda fun to be back in a theatre, while sometimes it reminds me why I prefer bridal (bridezillas, brides moms and all) I am enjoying the experience non the less as my friends are wonderful to work with!
Participated in a fund raiser event called Fashion Remix. Where we are teamed up with a small team to create something fashionable out of Interior design materials...like tile, carpet, fabric, 3-form, furniture etc...It was a total blast! our team had fabric and I was the model! I will have to post pictures once things slow down.
I will be showing my Greece Collection of bridal gowns in a fashion show this weekend...I'm kinda excited as this show attracts a lot of people. i am really hoping to get some cliental!
Also can't wait to post pics of the jacket I am making in tailoring! It is turning out SOOOO cool! I am loving the whole experience of learning to classically tailor a jacket!
Well I should probably leave this post at that. I have successfully put off another night of homework, which I know I WILL regret this weekend, but I have been so busy that I am starting to wear my self out. (STILL trying to find my balance in my life and learning to say NO to my self when i want to take something on or I'm offered work) and wasn't able to focus due to some mini migraines that I get every once in a while. regardless of my homework being put off I needed the break. I watched a movie with Jason which is something I have not done in a while, let's just hope the fact I took two nights off will keep me motivated to catch up on everything!

Mary dearest you are crazy. But in a good way.
I admire your creative energy as it never seems to stop! I'm excited for you to go on another LA trip and to see what you come up with next!
Power on, wonder woman~!
Have you've thought about starting a FIDM Fashion Club through FIDM/Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in LA? Since you have a fashion club and you seem well on your way, you can easily transition your club to a FIDM fashion club and take advantage of the cool trips to the school and the scholarship store, talks with advisors about their programs and even cool scholarships for fashion club students who want to apply to FIDM after graduating! I know it's a lot of info to digest but if this is something that sounds cool to you, check out fashionclub.com for more info :)
